The Emmanuel Mudiay Foundation Scholarship Program is designed to benefit young people who overcome obstacles and use education as a vehicle to improve themselves and their community.
Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must be from the Democratic Republic of Congo or the greater Dallas, TX region and must be currently enrolled and in good standing at a university, college or other eligible accredited post-secondary educational program.
Criteria to be considered when selecting recipients of the scholarship include:
- Demonstrated commitment to pursuing goals in the face of adversity or challenges
- Scholastic achievement
Family members of officers, directors, major contributors and members of any scholarship selection committee, are disqualified from receiving scholarships.
Process
To be considered, applicants must submit complete application packets. Applications will be reviewed by the foundation on a rolling basis, selecting superior applicants for award.
