Started in 2017, the Mudiay Elite team participated in the U17, U16, and U15 divisions. Mudiay Elite participated in the Under Armour Association (UAA), a grassroots basketball league supported by Under Armour. Some of the most talented high school players in the United States participate in the circuit to further develop their skills and potentially work towards getting recruited to play in college and beyond. In addition to developing critical skills for on the court, the Mudiay Elite coaches consistently promote youth’s focus on education, values, and resilience in overcoming obstacles.
Support from the Emmanuel Mudiay Foundation helps the team access the resources they need for success on and off the court and to travel to competitions, providing greater exposure for the players so they have a greater chance to be recruited to play in college as well as helping them to see new communities.
